Time to Go Out!

Wow I can't believe how nice the weather's been lately! I think it'll be time soon to go to the beach. For now it's nice to be switching to the outdoor pools already. I know the team's enjoying it much better as well.

Speaking of going out the weather's better for more than just getting in the water too. I'd be sounding like a certain old senpai if that's all that was on my mind. I hope I can go out and see everyone more often now even if everyone else has the same idea. So many people around but it's really great too!

Haircuts

My hair's getting a little too long and I should probably get my hair cut soon... but I'm not sure where is a good place. I've been going to the same place for almost my whole life back home. This is like the first time ever I'd be getting it done somewhere else. I haven't had to ask for a specific stylist or anything in forever.

If anyone has some suggestions I'd love to hear them. I didn't think I'd be hit with big city culture shock again so soon!

Good to Be Back

It was really crazy how fast the stay in Tokyo went. Between all the excitement of the competitions I barely got to see most of the area. Then again I'm learning that I'm not too good at going through cities by myself. It's so busy and fast paced! I'll get the hang of it next time for sure.

Congratulations again to everyone who competed!

I can't wait to get started again on work for the next year. I'll help not just Onii-chan but my whole team get through next time even if I am just a support member of the team.

Nationals!

I can't believe it's almost here. I know I'm not an athlete and my school's team might not have made it but I'm just so excited. I get to see Onii-chan compete at such a level and it's going to be amazing. Good luck to everyone else competing! It's so exciting Toyama made it so far in so many sports. While we're rival schools we're still all from the same place on this big level and that's really inspiring. I hope I can learn a lot from everyone there.

Just Going to Stay Inside

The temperature sure has been strange lately. I hope I don't end up getting sick because of it. Hot one moment and cold another can't be very good. I'm going to make some popcorn and watch some movies I think... Maybe Tangled I always really liked it.

It's Not Over Until It's Over

Wow that was.... incredible but really hard too. I know I'm just the medic on the team but I wish I could help out so much more. I'm going to try to from now on. Seeing everyone put in their all even though the competition was steep. But I'm proud of Shirataiiku and our strong school. We have great athletes and I'll continue to support them the best I can even if just from the sidelines.

Now though I guess the best thing I can do is try my best to cheer everyone up and on in the individual challenges. Good luck onii-chan!

Surprises for the New Year

Well I was certainly surprised when my Christmas present was a trip back home for the new year! I'm sorry I couldn't spend it with the new friends I've made but it was so nice to go home and see mom and onii-chan again. And most of all I was happy I could visit father's grave for the new year properly. I'll be heading back soon. Nagisa-kun, Makoto-senpai if you'd like anything from home let me know I'll be stopping by to greet your families too!

Whirlpools

Wow I think I know what it feels like to swim in a whirlpool now. I know most people would call this all a whirlwind but water analogies just seem to make more sense to me. It was very crazy rushing to camp in the knick of time and returning now it feels like I haven't been back in the dorm in ages. While it's not completely like home yet it still is nice being back. I was really nervous at first getting to know so many people so quickly but it was really fun in the end.

~~Omg college students... college ATHLETES! All the finely sculpted bodies. The brilliant muscles... I might have fainted.~~

I Made It!

Wow I can't believe I'm finally here. I know it's a weird time in the school year but I'm just happy to be here at all. It's so far from home but there's just so much to do. Not to mention my school is absolutely wonderful! All those great athletes in training and of course former and current ones too! I almost fainted from the excitement. ~~And all the muscles my gosh...~~

I suppose I should introduce myself since I don't think I really know anyone around here. Well, other than you Sousuke-kun!

Anyway, my name's Matsuoka Kou and I go to Shirataiiku Sports University and I'm staying in Momo Hall. I'm studying Sports Medicine and I'll be the swim team's medic too. Nice to meet everyone~
